Biography
Edgar Cardenas has multicultural experience in Romania, Hungary, Japan, Russia, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and USA, providing support to companies on their improvement journey, based on developing teams to improve the quality of their people and processes. At ALFRA, he serves as vice president of global operations overseeing projects in Chile, Costa Rica, USA, and Mexico. Mr. Cardenas began his career as a Lean consultant in 2009, and in 2014, he started leading the ALFRA European operations with teams in Romania, Hungary, Spain, and Russia. Mr. Cardenas has worked in several industries including automotive, electronics manufacturing, food and beverage, plastics, shared service centers, logistic services, aerospace, among others. He has developed and coached over 1000 leaders in the Lean management philosophy, with a main focus on improving the working conditions for those adding value.
