Alex Teoh is the founder and managing consultant for Keysense Consulting and oversees the training and services in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Mr. Teoh started his career implementing TPS in an engine assembly plant and held key operation posts in global companies before becoming a lean consultant in the mid-90s. He has accumulated an extensive track record through various in-depth lean transformations across a wide spectrum of industries, ranging from automobile, electronics, pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, and FMCG. He also led projects for non-profit organizations and government agencies. In 2010, Mr. Teoh began to research how to make improvement stick. This led him to explore various operational excellence practices, and leadership and coaching techniques. As a Shingo alum and certified facilitator, Mr. Teoh is an advocate for enterprise excellence. He holds an honors degree in industrial engineering; is a certified MTM practitioner; and speaks fluent English, Chinese, and Malay.
