Biography

Steve Nicoll is a seasoned leader with over four decades of global experience in manufacturing and service sectors. With a master’s degree in Lean Enterprise and various degrees in management, leadership, and Six Sigma, he is an ISO lead auditor for safety, quality, and environment, and also a Shingo Prize and research and publication examiner. As a visiting lecturer at ISM Business School, Mr. Nicoll imparts business excellence and leadership knowledge to master’s students. Whilst at News UK, he helped the organization become the first UK recipient of the prestigious Shingo Prize. Mr. Nicoll has since helped various organizations achieve similar excellence as a coach. He is committed to empowering organizations to realize their potential through sustainable operational and cultural transformations. In his coaching practice The Lean Orange, he champions business excellence through cultural transformation. Employing a straightforward, jargon-free approach he fosters collaborative, simplistic, and systematic methods for tangible results. His purpose is to be kind, generous, and supportive in life.
